September 12, 2021

Dear Third Grade Parents,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 year of St. Eulalia’s Religious Education program. We are excited to be your child’s teachers this year, and are looking forward to sharing our faith with them. We would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves.

Mrs. West is a busy mom of four, a math teacher at North Pocono Middle School, a youth soccer coach and has been volunteering in the Religious Education program for about 6 years now.

Miss Antosh is an English Teacher at North Pocono School District, a volunteer musician and teacher with Electric City Steel Drum project, and has been volunteering in the Religious Education program for about 12 years.

In-person classes will run from 9-10am on Sundays. If the NP school district is closed on Monday for a holiday weekend, we will not have religious ed classes the Sunday before. Please see the calendar that was sent with your registration letter or the online version on the parish website.

Any class announcements will be sent via email and Remind (see below for instructions on joining the Third Grade Remind class) and will be posted on this Third grade web page.

Aside from the book materials we also continue to work on our prayers and begin to learn about the rosary. We also like to do some fun crafts that go along with our book materials.

You are your child’s first teacher of the faith, but we thank you for sending them to our program.

Please never hesitate to reach out to any of us with questions or concerns.

Below is a brief outline of what children enrolled in St. Eulalia's Religious Education Program learn during Third Grade

Building upon the excitement of First Holy Communion and the base of knowledge students received in Kindergarten, First and Second grades, students in the Third Grade continue to learn about the church's liturgical year and holidays. They are taught about the rosary and bible.

Sign Up for Religious Education -- You can complete the online registration form or download the PDF registration form. The completed PDF can be emailed back to Mrs. Clancy or printed and placed in the Offertory Box in the church, mailed to the parish office (ATTN: Alysia Clancy), or dropped off at the parish office.

If you are new to our parish, you can register online or download and complete the parish census form.
