IGNITE Youth Ministry

St. Eulalia’s Youth Ministry is off to a great start! I want to thank the 26 students who attended our first meeting and the parents who encouraged them to come. Our parish is alive and flourishing with life and I am excited to watch our Youth Ministry grow and evolve. Parents, please encourage your youth to continue to stay involved with our youth ministry where they will have the opportunity to volunteer in their community while growing closer with God. We have a busy summer schedule filling up already!

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities: Summer Lunch Bag Program with the North Pocono Food Pantry

This summer, the Diocese of Scranton has two retreats for middle school and high school students. I have personally attended these retreats when I was in school and now serve on the adult team. I would recommend these life-changing retreats to all youth. Please consider attending… you won’t be disappointed. Register online through the Diocese of Scranton or call Kelley @ 570-510-5544.  (NOTE: Public school students are allowed 30 hours of release time from school for Religious Education and this would qualify. Contact me for further information.) Hurry, registration fills up fast!

ISLI High School Retreat at Fatima Center – A Life Changing Summer Experience!
June 16-19 – All students entering grade 9-12 are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
Cost: $145 for new attendees/$155 for trainees

Up & Over Middle School Retreat at Fatima Center
June 6-8 – All middle school students in grades 6-8 are welcome!
Cost: $100
